StopTech announces the release of the Nissan 350Z AeroRotor Direct Replacement Kit (DRK), which brings race-winning technology to the street as a simple to bolt-on replacement rotor that fits the stock caliper.

The two-piece, floating 350Z AeroRotor DRKs offer a wide variety of benefits over the stock rotors including a weight-savings of more than 10 lbs, resistance to coning and cooler operating temperatures.

With the use of the AeroRotor and a billet aluminum AeroHat, the unsprung weight is decreased, therefore improving the overall handling and braking of the vehicle. The same combination also resists coning in high temperature environments. The patented AeroRotor vane design creates improved induced airflow and the cooler operating temperatures result in longer pad life, longer rotor life and reduced brake fade.

The AeroRotor DRK is 2.5 pounds lighter per front rotor assembly and more than 2.75 pounds lighter per rear rotor than the stock rotors, creating a total reduction of 10.5 lbs total weight savings versus the stock rotors.

The 350Z AeroRotor DRK made its on track debut with the Grand Am Series Unitech Racing 350Z and produced the first North American professional series win for the Nissan 350Z at the Grand-Am Cup Series Mid-Ohio 250.

Once the AeroRotor DRK was mounted the lap times dropped immediately, allowing the #33 car to clock its fastest time of the race weekend. The drivers found they could brake deeper in turns and gained a .5 second per lap advantage with the StopTech rotors.
